Twitter On Fire As Muslim Students’ Group, MSSN Takes Brimstone For Endorsing Tinubu

Twitter is on fire with reactions from Nigerians as a student Muslim group, Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria, MSSN, publicly endorsed the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ahmed Bola Tinubu.

The Muslim students’ group is currently taking fire and brimstone from other Nigerians who say the group has derailed from its mandate to become partisan.

MSSN endorsement of Tinubu:

In a tweet shared by the presidential aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, the MSSN said in a statement that Tinubu is the right candidate for the group.

The Muslim students’ statement was signed by its chairman and secretary, Muhammad Bin Isa and Auwalu Inusa respectively and shared on Twitter by the Special Assistant on Digital Communications to president Buhari, Bashir Ahmad.

According to him, “The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN) has just endorsed our candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, ahead of Saturday’s presidential election.”

As at the time of writing this report, that singular tweet has garnered over 527.4K tweet views, over 2,087 and more than 432 retweets and still counting.

However, Some tweeps soon took to the micro-blogging site to state their views.
