election results from the governorship and state houses of assembly elections ongoing in Nigeria have started trickling in. This is just as Twitter trends with such hashtags like #ElectionResults, #SanwoIsWinning, #GRVIsComing.
Although the election has recorded great violence, voter intimidation and ballot snatching, among ballot destruction and attacks on voters, some polling units did conclude the electoral processes.
In Lagos state, thugs attacked so many polling units and destroyed election materials.
Similarly, in Rivers state, thugs equally destroyed election materials and attacked voters.
Violence were recorded in Delta, Benue, Anambra and many other states.
However, despite the election violence recorded in many states, election results are trickling in.
While votes were counted at polling units, some of the INEC officials did not upload results from polling units. Instead, results were uploaded to INEC IREV at INEC head centers in the various areas.
