X (previously Twitter) is undergoing rebranding and as a part of that, the company is bringing changes to the looks, support pages and now names of its features.
After renaming the app X, “Twitter Blue” subscription is getting a new identity.
Company owner Elon Musk announced that Twitter Blue is now X Premium.
Musk did not particularly make an announcement about the name change but readers got to know the new name through a post in which Musk talked about ad revenue share on X.

“To be eligible for your ad revenue share, you must be an X Premium (Blue) subscriber.
“The ad money will otherwise be kept by X if you are not an X Premium (Blue) subscriber,” he said.
It is to be noted that there are four requirements to get ad revenue share:
– be an X Premium (Blue) subscriber
– receive at least 15 million total impressions on your posts in the last 3 months
– have at least 500 followers
– be at least 18 years old
X has also changed Twitter Blue’s official handle to @Premium.
Handle name hijacking continues:
Last month, when Twitter rebranded as X, it also took the @x Twitter handle away from San Francisco photographer Gene X Hwang, who had used it since 2007.
While @Premium was not taken from any other user, reports suggest that that company has taken other handles, including @Sports and @Music from other users.
Jeremy Vaught of Ohio, who had the handle @music, said that his account had been taken from him by X.
He created the account 16 years ago. “Just now, Twitter / X just ripped it away,” he posted.
The company moved his account to @musicfan—and also offered a choice of three other handles: @musiclover, @musicmusic and @music123.
Meanwhile, a user claims that his @sports handle on Twitter has been taken by Twitter and moved to @sportz, offering @allsports, @sportsfan, or @sportslife as alternatives.
There are new handles of @tv and @movies as well.
