Google has announced that it would be fixing its ‘Hey Google’ feature that had been missing from its Wear OS smartwatches.
According to reports, Google Assistant had been broken for months.
However, Google said that it is aware of its users’ issues; therefore, it is working to fix the broken feature.
It also added it plans on improving the overall experience for users.
This came after many users had been reporting the issue on the Google Issue Tracker platform.
Last year, the problem was first discovered in November but wasn’t really noticed until the complaint became occasional on Reddit and Google Issue Tracker platform.
However, another platform, Droid-life, mentioned that the reports dated back to June.
As a necessary tool for most users using Google’s Os on their wrist, they found a way around the assistant feature despite the odds.
They could not make it completely unusable; so, users could activate it with a long button-press of the power button on their smart-watch model.
Also, they could trigger it by the left-most feed on the touchscreen.
Although the process was considered to be harder and strenuous.
