Recent leaks from reliable sources have exposed a lot of unreleased information about the next smartphone releases we should expect from OPPO Nigeria.
Even though OPPO is yet to even tease any new smartphone models on their social media pages, our sources confirm that the global smartphone giants will be releasing two smartphones at the same time.
It is also surprising to see that OPPO will be releasing the Reno 5 Series even though they completely skipped the Reno 4 Series here in Nigeria.
We gather that OPPO will be releasing the Reno 5 and Reno 5F, while the Reno 5 Pro will not be released here in Nigeria, due to pricing reasons determined by the worsening USD exchange rate here in Nigeria.
We reckon that OPPO understands the current economic realities in Nigeria and as such will not be selling products beyond a particular price ceiling.

From the leak, the OPPO Reno 5 will be flaunting a 64MP Quad camera, supported by a 16MP Ultra-wide lens, 13MP Telephoto lens and a 2MP Depth sensor; while there will be a single 32MP camera on the front.
We also gather that the OPPO Reno 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 765G chipset, 4350 mAh Battery, Motion Gestures and 50W VOOC Flash Charging, capable of performing high-intensity functions for a long time stretch without overheating or lagging.
While this news is unconfirmed, leaksters speculate that the Reno 5 will sell around N150,000 and the Reno 5F may retail at around N120,000. Will there be concessions for the Nigerian market considering the current economic situation? Time will tell.
