The bird app, Twitter, has announced the global release of a new feature, ‘fleets.’
In a tweet announcing the feature, Twitter said, “That thing you didn’t Tweet but wanted to but didn’t but got so close but then were like nah.”
It also added that the feature would be for all users.
So, all users can access the disappearing feature, which will sit at the top side of the timeline, from anywhere.
In the video it released alongside the announcement, Twitter stated what users could do with the feature.
Users can write texts, share tweets, record a video, and post a photo, in which the activity will appear in a story form and stay live till 24 hours.
Twitter hopes that through the feature, users can express themselves more without feeling pressured.

Apparently, the new feature had been tested in many global markets like India, Italy and Brazil earlier in the year.
In a blog post, Twitter said that:
“Through our tests in Brazil, Italy, India, and South Korea, we learned Fleets helped people feel more comfortable joining the conversation — we saw people with Fleets talk more on Twitter.
“Those new to Twitter found Fleets to be an easier way to share what’s on their mind.
“Because they disappear from view after a day, Fleets helped people feel more comfortable sharing personal and casual thoughts, opinions, and feelings.
“These are early findings from our tests, and we’re excited to learn more about how Fleets are used by you.”
