Africa technology platform, Tech Connect Africa, will be hosting the biggest convention of Africa’s tech talent in Nairobi, Lagos, and Accra this December.
The annual event aims to convene top Afro talent returning to Africa and on the continent, during December’s festivities, to build a community centred on leading innovation and helping to drive the technology growth in Africa.
The event will hold in Nairobi on the 14th of December; in Lagos on the 22nd and 23rd of December and in Accra on the 27th of December.
Tech Connect Africa is committed to building a highly engaged, innovative, and interconnected global community. And it will be partnering with tech media platforms, such as Techuncode, to connect the global African diaspora through tech education, innovation, culture, and community.
Together, the cities will host talent from leading tech companies such as Google, LinkedIn, Meta, and pioneers such as Afropolitan, Emergency Response Africa, and JeGO.
They will lead panels and keynotes on three major topics to “Celebrate African Excellence”.
The first panel will discuss “How to leverage global connections for career and personal growth.”
Speakers include Akua Nyame-Mensah (ANM); Ego Obi (Google); Lorraine Wright, MBE (Meta); Perry Nelson.
The second panel will discuss “Whose Responsibility is it to build Africa?”
Alex Masu (Meta); Amanda Agyepong (Google); Dorothy Gordon (UNESCO); Kate Ibeanusi (Emergency Response Africa) will be present to lead those discussions.

The third panel will discuss “The Future of Africa.”
Chika Uwazie (Afropolitan); Folarin Aiyegbusi (Google); Josiah Eysion (ISpace Ghana); will speak on this topic.
Tech Connect Africa 2022 promises to be one of the biggest spotlights for Africa’s global diaspora of talent.
