Take a deep dive with OPPO’s cutting-edge NPU at OPPO INNO DAY 2021

OPPO Mobile Telecommunications Corp. Ltd is set to outline its latest strategy and introduce several exciting Artificial Intelligence (AI)and new OPPO smart glasses, as well as several other technological breakthroughs at the upcoming OPPO INNO Day 2021.

The leading global smart device brand will be showcasing its debutant Neural Processing Unit (NPU) and its new smart glasses at the company’s biggest-ever tech event alongside several other technological breakthroughs.

According to a statement from the company, these features have the potential to revolutionize how Oppo devices’users perform many daily tasks.

It is also aimed at helping users to improve how they receive and also process informations with amazing functionality for personal and business uses.

OPPO INNO DAY 2021 will hold as a virtual and physical events between 14–15 December.

During the online event, Tony Chen, Founder and CEO of OPPO, will deliver a keynote speech regarding the company’s updated corporate strategies and new directions in Research and Development (R&D).

At the same time, other senior executives will introduce the new NPU and smart glasses.

Ahead of the event Tony Chen noted: “OPPO INNO Day has been introducing new concept products and other groundbreaking innovations since it first began in 2019.

During OPPO INNO Day 2019, OPPO announced the first generation of its AR Glass product and its 5G CPE and OPPO Watch smartwatch series.

Last year, OPPO demonstrated three products: the OPPO X 2021 Rollable Concept Handset, OPPO AR Glass 2021, and CybeReal.

This year, OPPO will continue the tradition by presenting its latest achievements that push the boundaries of technological advancements further than ever.”

OPPO INNO DAY 2021 will also see OPPO showcase details around some of its latest cutting-edge technologies, including its Retractable Camera and Digital Human.

Further to this, other breakthrough innovations related to imaging, AI, AR, and 5G will be announced.

This is part of the company’s investments effort towards developing its products and making premium and top-notch quality mobile communication devices for Nigeria consumers.

The Neural Processing Unit is technology expected to greatly accelerate the efficiency of artificial intelligence (AI) applications to improve functionality of Oppo devices, while the OPPO new smart glasses have been designed to help Nigeria users view entertainment with correct and quality graphics in a more exciting way.
