Reddit Bans Hundreds Of Hate Speeches Including From Trump Community

Reddit mentioned on Monday that it was blocking about 2,000 subreddits like r / The_Donald, where President Donald Trump ‘s followers have met, in a move the software giant claimed it was targeted at hate-promoting groups.
“All communities on Reddit must abide by our content policy in good faith. We banned r/The_Donald because it has not done so, despite every opportunity,” the technology company said in a statement.
Reddit had previously put r / The_Donald behind an external page allowing users to click through, a limitation the organization named as a “quarantine.” But even after that limited punishment, the subreddits moderators “have refused to meet our most basic expectations,” said Reddit.
