#Uniben Students have clashed with some men of the Nigerian soldiers over withdrawals of Naira notes at the Automated Teller Machine (ATM).
The recent old to new naira swap and the lack of naira even at ATMs have continued to ignite troubles among Nigerians.
While videos have emerged where Nigerians are fighting over whose turn it is to withdraw at ATMs, other videos have shown Nigerians going naked in banks just to get the naira.
Other videos equally show Nigerians fighting even in the banking halls over naira withdrawals.

This development has continued to fester even as Point 0f Sale (POS) operators are making brisk sales of the naira in their possessions at crazy rates.
For instance, at Festac town, Amuwo Odofin LGA, LAgos, POS operators are charging N1000 to withdraw N5000.
What this means is that for you to withdraw N5000 from your own account via the POS, you would pay the operator N1000.
This is for the operators who have cash as many others don’t have.
Consequently, those who are not ready to pay such high charges have to stand very long queues to make withdrawals from a bank’s ATM.

The female soldier allegedly beat up the female student who, eventually, was not recording the soldiers.
Students Retaliate:

A viral video shows the students assaulting the soldier at the university’s gate.
Soldiers came into Uniben to withdraw from ATMs. They forcefully used the machines and at one point asked a female soldier to beat up a female student because they taught she was recording them. The students did not take the harassment lightly as they retaliated.#uniben pic.twitter.com/xZIVGJ3tBF

They are equally protesting the assault of students by the soldiers.
This has cause traffic gridlock on the expressway.
The continuous shortage of the naira and the malfunctioning of banks’ app are scuttling the cashless policy in Nigeria.
