The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has won the “Excellence in IT Regulations of the Year” award at the 4th Nigeria Tech Innovation & Telecom (NTITA) Awards 2020.
The event was held at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos, on November 7, 2020.
NITDA received recognition for its immense contributions towards achieving a Digital Economy for a Digital Nigeria.

NTITA rewards groundbreaking innovations and excellence from individuals and organizations involved in advancing technology and transforming the ICT industry.
Additionally, the award recognises contributions from all parts of the ICT sector.

These include communication service providers, solutions providers, banking, health, insurance, Fintech, cloud, cybersecurity, digitization, and consultancies.

Additionally, the agency’s mandate is to create evaluation and regulation of IT practices in Nigeria.

Recently, the Agency partnered with the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric, Hospital, Kaduna, to train patients with mental health issues.
