Although voter accreditation and voting are ongoing in many polling units, election materials have either been snatched or electorates chased away by thugs.

Lagos:

In Lagos, thugs also called Agberos are going about different polling units chasing voters away. In other units, the thugs are preventing certain voters from going into the voting area to cast their votes.

Also, in yet many other areas, the Agberos have scattered the whole process and chased voters away.

There have equally been claims of gun shots and weapon-carrying Agberos roaming the streets, including Alimosho.

Meanwhile, INEC officials have been captured insisting result transmission will not take place at polling units.

Also, on election day, in some areas, a traditionl festival called the ‘Oro Festival’ is being done. This festival prohibits people, especially non-indigenes and women from coming out.

In Delta:

In Delta, INEC officials head back after thugs snatched election materials and destroyed them.
