TikTok Now Available On Samsung, LG TVs, Android TV devices

The short video sharing app TikTok would be expanding to more TVs.
It said it would be available today on Samsung, LG smart TVs, Android TV devices, and Google TV.
This is coming after it launched earlier in the month on the Amazon Fire TV Platform in the US and Canada.
TikTok said the TV app would be optimised for users to have a home TV experience in the announcement blog.
It said it is “a joy and creativity of TikTok together at home.”
“It is built for a TV home-viewing experience, making it easy to watch content from our For You and Following feeds on the big screen.
This includes the most liked and viewed videos across a huge range of categories, from gaming and comedy to food and animals.”

What can users what on the TV app?
TikTok said that users would view its ‘for you’ and ‘following’ on their screen.
This would include popular and trending videos on the platform in any category.
Also, there is a discover channel on the TV that allows users to find more exciting creators on the platform.
To access the TikTok on the TV app, if a user has an existing account, they can log in through that.
However, if the user doesn’t have the person should open an account on TikTok.
TikTok is looking for ways to better the experience of its users.
The platform is committed to “inspire creativity and bring joy, cultivating an entertaining space for positive, creative expression.”
Implication for you?
Those with Samsung, LG smart TVs, Android TV devices, Google TV and Amazon Fire TV can now enjoy the TikTok Tv home viewing experience.
However, it won’t be available to everyone, only users in North America.
TikTok has not spoken about expanding the software to other countries yet.
So if you aren’t in the US or Canada, you might have to be patient with the video-sharing platform.
It might be considering other ways of bettering the experience of people in other countries.
