This is coming two days after the group issued a 72hour ultimatum to the federal government of Nigeria to end police brutality.

The group also allegedly hacked the official website of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and release details of some police officers.

#ENDSARS: Anonymous Hacks Into The Official Twitter Of NBC

On Friday, October 16, Anonymous took action again by hacking NBC’s official Twitter handle.

The hack, again, is to show the group will continue to support the fight against police brutality in Nigeria.

In the tweet from NBC’s account, “we, #Anonymous will continue supporting Nigerians.”

What is Anonymous?

Anonymous is a collective group of cyber hackers that expose government officials around the world.

A few months ago, their target was Donald Trump.

The group threatened to expose Trump’s “dirty laundry.”

However, this was during the #Blacklivesmatter protest, after the death of George Floyd.

That’s not all. Earlier in the year, there were also controversies from Anonymous against Trump and Jeffery Epstein.

The exposure caused a lot of questions. Notwithstanding, Trump did disclaim every allegation.

Anonymous vs The Federal Government of Nigeria

Now that Anonymous has taken a particular interest in the Nigerian Government, who knows what’s next.

Will other accounts be hacked?

Is the Nigerian Government on edge? What could be going through their minds?

What is #ENDSARS?

Some days ago, young Nigerians began protesting against injustice and police brutality.

The peaceful protest is against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), a unit of the NPF.

The #ENDSARS movement has spread across the world. It’s longer just Nigerians protesting.

Additionally, in the early hours of this morning, the #ENDSARS now has an emotional icon which is a green and white fist.

Twitter boss, Jack Dorsey, is also in support of the movement as he consistently tweets with the hashtags.
