In its commitment to grow exponentially, the Twitter platform announced it is officially launching a team in Ghana.
Although, not physically.
Twitter plans to build a community of remote workers to make an immediate impact in its community.
This would be before it begins exploring opportunities of opening an office in its region.
However, this is great news for the Ghana community.

Being the first Africa Company Twitter launches a team in, Ghana is going to further serve more public conversations in Africa.
Twitter said its reason for the launch is to further support the country for its advocacy for free speech, online freedom and open speech.
Emphasising the fact that Ghana shares in its value for freedom; it highlights that Ghana’s recent appointment to host “The Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area” spurge its overarching goal to establish its presence in the region.
Also, the launch would help support its effort to improve and build its service in Africa.
Going forward, Twitter says in its blog post that it would be partnering and investing in local communities in the country.
“We have already laid foundations through partnerships with Amref Health Africa in Kenya, Afrochella in Ghana, Mentally Aware Nigeria Initiative (MANI) in Nigeria, and The HackLab Foundation in Ghana.”, said Twitter.
Also, Twitter calls out to specialists in products, design, engineering, marketing and communication to join its team in Ghana.
However, those that would be joining its team would work remotely, according to its updated WFH policy.
Interested personnel should visit its job site, Twitter careers site to apply.
Twitter mentioned that it would continue to explore more ways in which its platform can be used to transform communities; by providing job employment, corporate giving and platform activation.
