Twitter Set To  Officially Launch A Team In Africa

In its commitment to grow exponentially, the Twitter platform announced it is officially launching a team in Ghana.

Although, not physically.

Twitter plans to build a community of remote workers to make an immediate impact in its community.

This would be before it begins exploring opportunities of opening an office in its region.

However, this is great news for the Ghana community.

Being the first Africa Company Twitter launches a team in, Ghana is going to further serve more public conversations in Africa.

Twitter said its reason for the launch is to further support the country for its advocacy for free speech, online freedom and open speech.

Emphasising the fact that Ghana shares in its value for freedom; it highlights that Ghana’s recent appointment to host “The Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area” spurge its overarching goal to establish its presence in the region.

Also, the launch would help support its effort to improve and build its service in Africa.

Public reactions to the Announcement

There have been several responses to the announcement. Below are some of the comments from the announcement:

Agbaje Naomi is a writer at Techuncode. At first, she wasn't so keen on tech. But over the past month, working with Techuncode has opened her to a whole new level of tech-smart. Naomi believes that writing is where you pour those raging thoughts about a subject. If Naomi is not writing she is probably watching a movie or looking for something productive to do.
