The American publisher commenced its 5th Annual Global Startup Ecosystem (GSE) digital accelerator program on September 1.
In line with that, Forbes plans to hold a Demo day for selected participants.
The event is slated for the last day of the training, September 30.
It will feature startups and corporate professionals selected from the ongoing cohort.
These professionals will pitch to private investors as well as corporate hiring companies.
Recall that 1000 applicants were selected across 90+ countries from seven continents (100 applicants each from the seven eligible continents).
The other 300 were randomly picked from the partner program within the network.
It is only those who make it to the final stage that will participate on the demo day.
About the program
GSE debuted in 2016 with a focus on career development, personal development, and business development.
Five-years down the line, the accelerator wants to prepare applicants for a remote digital future.
It also tipped that applicants get to receive $250k in free perks and prizes.
Thanks to this year’s partners, Google Cloud, AWS, IBM Cloud, DigitalOcean, Sendgrid, and Zendesk.
The four-weeks Program will run through 1st to September 30. It will feature speakers from around the world who will train on strategy.
Attendees at the Program cut across SMEs, corporate professionals, startups, and freelancers.
Global Startup Ecosystem (GSE): This is the world’s digital accelerator program.
GSE is currently the largest digital ecosystem development platform in the world.
Its primary mission is to educate, inspire, and prepare individuals and organizations for the digital age.
While at that, GSE unites both private and public stakeholders to address humanity’s greatest challenges.
To achieve that, the platform leverage advanced digital technology and entrepreneurship.
A post-pandemic world
Indeed, the world will not go back to the old ways post-COVID-19. This has, therefore, drawn more relevancies to the need to up-skill digitally.
As such, career professionals and entrepreneurs must join this movement leading to a remote future.
Demo Day will hold virtually on September 30, 2020, from 10 am- 4 pm EST.
It will take place during the Global Investment Summit Program.
RSVP via Zoom here.
Interested applicants can register for the GSE digital career accelerator program on a rolling basis.
